Pastor Tom and Lynn Owens came to Big Bear in 1984. They were saved at "The Church on the Way" in Van Nuys under Pastor Jack Hayford. Tom and Lynn were filled with Joy and within a month they were baptized in water, married, and had moved to Big Bear. They have been with Big Bear Foursquare Church since 1984. Pastor Tom was the pastor of the Church from 2005 to 2009; then, the Church was closed, and a new church was opened in 2009.
